This historic, Grade II listed building is home to the conveniently situated Stone Court hotel and its popular restaurant.

A short walk from the city centre, this Tudor hotel was converted in 1716 to serve as a residence for crown court judges. Re-trace their steps by relaxing in the comfortable rooms, and sipping port amid the oak beams and wood-panelling of the lounge bar. You can even add to the authenticity of the experience by booking a room with a four-poster bed.
